"It's a New Dawn, a New Day, a New Life, for me.and... I'm Feeling Good"

The title says it all.  I finally started that life changing moment called college, and I have to say it's pretty awesome.  And lookie here.... I actually took the time to take my own photos, granted I was to lazy to actually edit them:D.  I'll be brief... I ran across multiple issues my first week in Madison, but that just means life is ever more exciting! (note: this is from the first week of college; obviously I was so distracted I didn't finish the blog)
The stairs I take a lot to get to math class
So..... I'm aware it's been awhile since I've written, and I deeply apologize. This whole post was meant to come out in September but alas, I was acclimating to the strangeness.  Now that I've fully adjusted myself.  I'll tell you what's been going on.  Aside from the fact that my parents aren't breathing down my back, nothing feels totally different.  Somehow I feel like this is where I've need to be throughout all my years of schooling.  Something about the environment makes me feel like my life is one of those films where all these exciting things happen.  It's like life has finally begun.
By the way, I got into Concert Band! Yay, it just goes to show I'm not a complete and utter failure.

Exciting moments:
1) I almost almost got in to see Obama but luck rejected me that day and made me turn around to go study for my chemistry exam (which I did fairly well on)
2) The number of funny moments is too broad, let's just say that the randomness of life has dealt me quite a few laughs including:
-creepy lurker sighting with my friend- people should not wear all black at night
-staying out until late hours rambling on with even more randomness than usual
-playing the game assassins....... let's just say that I wasn't meant to be an awesome creeper and therefore died by the hand (which wielded the weapon of choice: the spoon!) of another Asian:/ unfortunately:( in a very sad manner
-the klutziest little falls you can see

Chancellor's Convocation
I feel like these four years of my life here are going to some of the best in my mind.  Perhaps I'm reminiscing a bit too much due to the fact that it's homecoming week, but honestly this is such an amazing feeling time.  Where else can you see fire jugglers, the president, eat ice cream everyday with your awesome roommate, be adorned in red and white along with the rest of the campus and laugh at the subtle attempt to encourage beer pong (ping pong balls on sale next to plastic cups) at the local drugstore?  Nowhere.  So even though I never planned to be a badger, I must say that I'm loving every moment.
And to top of my love for college, I'll end on this: TEACH ME HOW TO BUCKY!

ha ha I'm not that somber,

happy autumn!
XOXO Stephanie
